Checking In - Mexico and More

by Tyler Davidson

Welcome to the May issue of Meetings Focus West. I hope you enjoy all of the great stories in this issue, and believe me, they cover a lot of ground!

Our destination coverage stretches from Seattle to Maui, and then all the way over to the southern Mexico state of Chiapas, the second installment of our four-part Mexico Case Study series.

And our Mexico content doesn’t stop there, as the cover story highlights coastal Mexico, with an emphasis on the Tianguis Turistico trade event held in Puerto Vallarta and Riviera Nayarit in late March. Freelancer Mark Chesnut—probably about the best Latin America travel trade reporter going—gives his take, and if you want to check out the second-string version, you can always read my story at www.MeetingsFocus.com/Tianguis2012!
