Meeting Focus Live! Wraps Up in Fort Lauderdale

The Meetings Focus Live! Fort Lauderdale event wrapped up on Tuesday, June 5, following a busy three days of networking, CSR fun and learning opportunities.

Among the insightful seminars presented at the gathering were Loews’ exec Mike Dominguez speaking on the changing business model of hotels and meetings (pictured), and industry veteran Joan Eisenstodt joining attorney Kelly Bagnall to discuss the concept of ‘ethical negotiations.’ The seminars will be repeated at the remaining Meetings Focus Live! events this summer, and attending applies credit toward the CMP application.

Another highlight of the event was a ‘bike build’ for the Boys and Girls Clubs. CSR activities are available at each Focus Live! event, and the ‘bike build’ will be on the slate for the Huntington Beach event as well.

The Fort Lauderdale event followed the recent Meetings Focus Live! Colorado Springs gathering in a series of hosted-buyer functions offered by Meetings Focus this year. Other upcoming events are set for June 24 – 26 in Huntington Beach, CA; August 5 -7 in Charlotte; NC, August 26-28; in Valley Forge, PA; and August 29-31 in Lake Tahoe, CA. Just click here for additional info.
