MGM’s Dominguez Honored with Special Recognition

HispanicBusiness.com released its annual list of “50 Influentials,” shining a light on Hispanics in the U.S. who have accomplished great things and made a strong socioeconomic impact.

The new 2013 list includes celebrities like singer/actress Selena Gomez and NFL star Victor Cruz, but also includes esteemed business leaders, educators and advocates who have succeeded in their fields.

Among the names on the list tied to hospitality and travel is Michael Dominguez, senior vice president of sales for MGM Resorts. Dominguez provides strategic oversight for the company’s vertical sales endeavors, designs strategies for the group’s regional sales offices, and oversees the growth and execution of a companywide sales strategy for top accounts.

Dominguez is also a recognized expert in the hotel business world on such topics as hotel business models and contract negotiation, and has spoken numerous industry events—including Meetings Focus Live! events around the nation.
