When you are entertaining someone, do you have a hard time figuring out you should “get down to business?” These simple rules will keep you on track:

1. Breakfast – You should keep this meeting short and to the point. You can start to discuss business right from the beginning.

2. Lunch – Don’t start to discuss business until after you have ordered your food. You should have a few minutes of conversation prior to business.

3. Dinner – This is social time. Business conversation should be kept to a minimum. If it needs to come up, it should be after the main course is completed.
