World’s Busiest Airport Adds Terminal

ATLANTA

Atlanta is about to open the Maynard H. Jackson International Terminal at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport.

The $1.4 billion development features the addition of 12 international gates, giving the airport 40 dedicated international gates. Measuring 1.2 million square feet, the international terminal eliminates the baggage recheck process, all while providing world-class retail, dining and business services.

The opening coincides with improvements to the U.S.’s visa process, helping the country recapture its share of worldwide overseas travel.
