NEW YORK

The Sheraton New York Hotel just completed an extensive $160 million dollar renovation to all of its 1,781 accommodations and the 44th floor Club Lounge. In addition, the hotel will completely renovate its meeting facilities starting in December, with an upgraded ballroom debuting next March.

The hotel’s Metropolitan ballroom will get acoustics upgrades as well as new soft goods. The room’s usable space will slightly increase as plans call for the removal of decorative columns around the room’s perimeter. The Sheraton New York has 60,000 square feet of meeting space.

All guestrooms and suites at the property have been renovated from floor-to-ceiling and now boast a “sophisticated look with a modern touch, contemporary design and elegant feel.”

In addition, the hotel’s 44th floor club lounge was transformed into an inviting and warm space, where coffee, espresso and snacks are on tap 24 hours a day.
