Happenings - Wisconsin Dells

  • Kalahari Waterpark Resort Convention Center (877.525.2427; www.kalahariresorts.com/wi), Wisconsin Dells’ largest convention center hotel, recently added a 100,000-square-foot indoor theme park. The theme park’s 24-lane bowling alley, miniature golf course, full-swing golf simulators, ropes course, climbing walls and laser tag are all available for team-building exercises.

  • The Wilderness Hotel & Golf Resort (608.253.9729; www.wildernessresort.com) recently expanded its meeting space with a 20,000-square-foot addition to the Glacier Canyon Lodge Conference Center. Connected to the Glacier Canyon Lodge portion of the main resort via an enclosed skywalk, the conference center eliminates the need for attendees to be transported back and forth between lodging and meetings.

  • Chula Vista Resort (608.254.8366; www.chulavistaresort.com) recently expanded its group facilities with the addition of 14,000 square feet of conference and flexible meeting space with views of the Wisconsin River and a private deck area for outside breaks.

  • In 2009, Dells Raceway Park (608.253.7223; www.dellsracewaypark.com) began offering corporate groups a chance to test their team skills in the pits and on the track. The stock car race track also recently underwent significant improvements, including the addition of a new VIP lounge.

  • Cold Water Canyon Pavilion (608.254.8555; www.dellsboattours.com/coldwater) recently refurbished its historic stone pavilion. To access the pavilion, which is available for a variety of gatherings, attendees take an exclusive charter boat excursion on the the Wisconsin River.
