Tyler Davidson has covered the travel trade for more than 20 years, having previously worked as the Asia, Canada, Pacific Northwest, and Western U.S. editor at Travel Weekly magazine and TravelAge West. Before joining the dual editorial staff producing destination sections for Travel Weekly and TravelAge West, Tyler was the Africa, Israel, Middle East, Switzerland, and Pacific Northwest editor at TravelAge West. He also undertook general news and feature assignments while working at the magazines.

Besides reporting on the travel trade, Tyler has covered the real estate industry, held various editorial positions at the San Francisco-based national satire magazine The Nose, wrote freelance technology industry pieces and covered the San Francisco 49ers and Oakland Raiders for a bilingual newspaper in San Francisco. He has a B.A. in Journalism from San Francisco State University, where he worked in various editorial capacities on its award-winning student magazine, Prism.

Lori manages the work flow of the editorial department at Meetings Focus and oversees all destination-related content from staff and freelance writers for the company’s print publications, website and digital editions.

Lori has worked in publishing for more than 20 years. Prior to joining Meetings Focus, she worked as a freelance writer and editor specializing in travel-related content for trade and consumer publications and websites, and she spent eight years as an editor at Travel Weekly and TravelAge magazines, where she covered all regions of the U.S., as well as Asia, Australia, the Caribbean, Europe, Latin America, New Zealand and the South Pacific. In her travels, she has reported on a wide range of topics, from general-interest tourism and business travel to adventure and ecotourism, food and wine, and luxury vacations.

Lori has a B.A. in Journalism from San Francisco State University, where she served as executive editor and in other editorial positions for Prism, the university's award-winning student magazine.

Zach Chouteau is a longtime writer and editor with a diverse background that includes substantial experience in the travel industry. He has also provided his writing skills and editorial expertise to organizations ranging from Standard & Poor’s to the American Booksellers Association.

A resident of the East Bay, in his spare time he enjoys music, grilling, literary fiction and spending time with his wife Katherine, young son Logan and two pug dogs.

Kelsey joined Meetings Focus as an editorial assistant and was shortly promoted to Content Developer, News and Departments. She manages the national and regional department sections of the print magazine, writes monthly destination and feature stories, and contributes to online and social media efforts.

She graduated from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University, where she interned at Outdoor Life magazine in New York City, worked with what is now the Chicago Innocence Project investigating potential wrongful conviction cases, and spent time abroad in Uganda and Chile studying community development and social justice.

Eric started his professional writing career at The Daily Iowan while attending The University of Iowa in Iowa City. During his time at the newspaper, he wrote for the Arts & Culture section, writing articles primarily on the literary and music beats. He was quickly promoted to the role of assistant events editor and eventually arts editor, before graduating with degrees in journalism and marketing.

Post-college, Eric accepted a job at Wells Fargo Home Mortgage in financial services, but he missed the journalism industry, so he continued to write about current events and music in his spare time on two self-managed blogs. Eventually, he saw an opening for e-Media Content Developer at Stamats Communications in Cedar Rapids and was hired on full time.

As e-Media Content Developer for Meetings Focus, Eric writes feature and destination pieces, oversees the publication’s social media efforts, and figures out new ways to drive traffic to the publication’s website.
